Opulence by Float4 conjures a fantastical underwater world where four surreal characters embody the essence of The Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino—seductive, playful, enigmatic, & bold. Drifting through luminous dreamscapes, they invite guests to lose themselves in a shimmering reverie and rediscover the wonder of transformation.
Crafted exclusively for the hotel’s iconic lobby, the immersive artwork stretches across eight towering digital columns. A unique version of the story plays out across each screen, with performers seamlessly swimming from one screen to the next at times.
Custom adaptations extend the experience onto the 75-foot reception display and the rooftop beacon, lighting up the Las Vegas Strip on a nightly basis.
Preparation for the shoot began months in advance, where I provided insight on casting and costume materials—drawing on past experience to bring unique opinions & tips of the trade. Worked with each fellow performer to shape early choreographies.
On-site pool sessions followed, where I guided performers through breath control and underwater practices, alongside costume trials and choreography sessions. The project concluded with two non-stop days of shooting all scenes at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
