MY STORY
AMONG THE WAVES
DIVE BENEATH THE SURFACE
Before ever discovering this creative outlet, I was just a young girl from Vancouver, BC who loved the water. From the ocean to our neighbourhood swimming pool, you could not get me out.
Fast forward a few years & synchronized swimming became my life. By 13 I was competing at The Canada Games, winning my first National Championships & at the ripe age of 16 found myself on the Canadian National Team.

One of my personal highlights from my synchro career was the 2010 Junior World Championships.
One of my first major international competitions, I competed and medalled in all 3 events. Most cherished was my bronze medal in the solo event, snagging the title of third in the world.

Time went by & I was so fortunate to spend many good years competing on the National Team, representing Canada all over the world. After some tough years & even tougher injuries, it was time to hang up the suit & googles.
As luck would have it, after some time in retirement, a previous coach of mine was working on a special project with Cirque du Soleil & in need of some underwater specialists. It's safe to say I JUMPED onto the occasion & have been hooked on this type of expression ever since.

The true beauty & joy of this unique work stems from the creativity each project brings. From head-to-toe make-up & costume designs with Cirque du Soleil to an emotional, narrative-driven music video & filming outdoors in the mud at 2am.
I love the unique experience & new challenges each & every project brings. Here's looking to the next one!
